OUR PURPOSE Testimony Growth: This has always been our goal. We provide opportunities to give a "visual context" to the experiences and sacrifices of the early saints and patriots that established our church and government. We believe that hearing and understanding their stories will strengthen our resolve to be more faithful as members of the church and to be more grateful and responsible as citizens of this great land.
Missionary work: Copies of the Book of Mormon are given to the youth to be placed with people we meet along the way- We always encourage discussions with others. We have missionary training each morning on the bus as we discuss our experiences from the previous day.
Temple work: Baptisms in 2-3 temples. Best way to learn to love the temple is to be in the temple.
Church History sites: Discuss the important events at each location, the people involved and the part it/they played in the restoration.
American Heritage sites: Gain appreciation for its connection to God and the founding of our nation.
As you compare tours, you will notice that we have designed our tour to "fly" - when many tours won't fly. Why do we choose to fly one way or both ways? We found: 1. ...that flying allowed us to see and do more in a shorter period of time. 2. ...that flying allowed some of our tours to visit the church history sites in a more chronological fashion. We start in Sharon, Vermont the birthplace of the Prophet Joseph Smith and end at "This is the Place Monument" - the mouth of Emigration Canyon. 3. ...that flying cuts an 8000 (approx.) mile bus trip to roughly 4000 miles. 4. ...that flying enhances the bus experience by providing a well balanced approached to our travel itinerary and eliminating too much of a good thing.
